Vintage Story
Public testing preview: cooperative PvE Vintage Story with linked admission, network ranks and non-combat quality-of-life features.
Union Vintage Story
Public testing preview. Vintage Story is visible while its final linked/unlinked admission, privacy, rank and automatic-sleep checks are completed. Access remains controlled, and the server may be unavailable or restarted during testing.
A heavily modded, cooperative PvE Vintage Story world with Union account admission, network ranks and conservative quality-of-life commands.
Joining
- Add the exact Vintage Story account name on your account page.
- The server verifies that name with Vintage Story and permanently binds its PlayerUID. Account linking happens only on the website or app, never through an in-game code.
- During controlled testing, only approved linked testers can join. After full release, signed-in members will be able to wake the sleeping server from this page.
- Vintage Story's own account authentication remains enabled.
- This is a curated modpack. Server/universal mods are supplied to the Vintage Story client when required; allow time for the first download and load.
Server behaviour
- PvE at launch; player-versus-player damage is disabled.
- World time does not advance while the server is empty.
- The server stops after 30 empty minutes so its RAM is returned to the host. It resumes from the same world when a member requests it.
- The Union hub has protected building, breaking and use interactions.
Union ranks and commands
Your network rank appears as a coloured public-chat tag, with your selected name colour and effect where Vintage Story supports it. Supporter ranks receive non-combat convenience only: higher ranks have additional named-home slots and shorter random-teleport cooldowns.
Use /union, /rank, /cosmetics, /online, /rules, /website, /hub (or /spawn), /sethome, /home, /homes, /delhome, /tpa, /tpaccept, /tpdeny, /tpr and /report. Slash commands use Vintage Story's registered command system and their replies are private; command text is not rebroadcast as public chat.
Ranks never grant items, currency, inventory space, recipes, land, kits, combat or survival power, exclusive progression, or faster resource production.
